LOMA de VIDA
Loma de Vida Spa & Wellness is a secluded sanctuary, immersed in nature, and situated on one of the highest points in San Antonio, with breathtaking views of the Texas sky. The spa invokes the spirit of the Hill Country and Texas to inspire traditional spa offerings (massages, facials), signature experiences indigenous to the area, and results-orientated services integrating technology and nature, to create a true sense of balanced well-being. 

Please note that reservations are required for all treatments. Spa facilities and services are available to guests 18 years of age and older. Due to high demand, guests are strongly encouraged to book at least 4 weeks in advance for appointments.  

Please note, any treatment you receive at the spa includes access to the spa for that day.

Complimentary Resort Shuttle Service
La Cantera Resort offers a complimentary shuttle for guests to enjoy various attractions surrounding the resort. The shuttle is limited availability and by request only. Stop by the front desk to request your shuttle service.

  • The Shops at La Cantera (Drop-off & Pick-up at Perry's Steakhouse and P.F. Chang's)
  • The Rim (Drop-off & Pick-up at Target and the Palladium)
  • Six Flags (Drop-off & Pick-up at Guest Entrance)

Any other locations within a 5-mile radius will incur a $20 fee per party, per way, at the discretion of the front desk and concierge. Payment will be processed through a room charge, and cash payment will be accepted as gratuity for the shuttle drivers. 

*Transportation for Golf and Signature are available by request. 

The Shuttle will run from 6:30 am–11:00 pm.

Pools and Private Cabanas
La Cantera Resort and Spa features a total of five pools, in addition to multiple hot tubs around the property. Choose from: 

  • The Resort Pool—perfect for families
  • Topaz—our adults-only pool
  • Kid's Pool—including water slides
  • Vista Pool
  • Pool at Loma de Vida Spa & Wellness (available only for spa guests)

Fitness Center
Stay fit and focused while you're away. La Cantera Resort & Spa provides all the equipment you'll need for a satisfying workout, from Life Fitness® cardio equipment, with individual video monitors to dedicated zones for stretching and weight training, spread out across our 7,600 sq. ft. Fitness Studio.

Open 24 hours (Must have a room key to access fitness center between 8:00 pm–8:00 am.)

Running Trails
Discover the La Cantera area with an invigorating run. Guests can choose from a self-guided three or five-mile route winding through the Resort's natural surroundings.

Tennis Court & Pickle Ball
The Tennis court is available to resort guests from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm daily. Hourly use is complimentary, and rental fees apply for half-day and full-day private access. Private sessions with a tennis pro are also available and should be reserved in advance (fees apply).
